Norbert Lange †

We mourn the loss of our Managing Director, Norbert Lange, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of only 60.

Together with his wife, Brigitte Lange, he spent a large part of his life leading the family business, Robert Geiger Technische Bauteile, as part of the management duo. He was responsible for the entire technical division.

For over 30 years, this mechanical engineering specialist played a decisive role in shaping the development of Robert Geiger. He optimized numerous processes, was brimming with ideas, and served as a highly competent point of contact for our customers.

Over the decades, the company underwent repeated expansions and construction projects. Throughout these years, he initiated constant product improvements and optimizations. Notably, he embraced new technologies, ensuring that all steel profiles and plastic components are manufactured in-house—a strategy that brought value creation within the company, enabled the rapid realization of new developments, and ensured maximum flexibility.

He was a reliable business partner, deeply valued by many customers and suppliers, with whom he maintained relationships spanning decades.
He was a man who enjoyed rolling up his own sleeves and working closely alongside his many long-standing employees.

With respect and gratitude, we bid farewell to a remarkable person, entrepreneur, and colleague.

His two sons, Philipp and Patrick, are now following in his footsteps, prepared to carry forward this shared life’s work.
